Room Share Agreement
 


By the time you have reached this stage you should have already initiated contact with the league you wish to share with and ascertianed that they are willing to entertain the idea of sharing their room with you. This agreement is but a sample and should be customized for the parties that wll be using it. Please bear in mind that although our leagues are for games, a room share agreement is a LEGAL contract between 2 or more parties and should never be entered into or taken lightly. Room share agreements should be fair and advantageous to all leagues involved.



The Request


I am the head admin of a new (insert your game) league and would like to share the(insert your game service) (insert the room name)with (insert resident league name). We are willing to negotiate and accept most agreeable terms you set forth and would like to propose both leagues become sister leagues in an effort to promote the fun of (insert your game) tourneys. Please respond with your terms of share. signed by HEAD ADMIN

ROOM SHARE AGREEMENT


1. (insert resident league name) and (insert 2nd league name) will share (insert game site, room name) for the purpose of holding tournaments subject to the terms set out herein.

2. (insert resident league name) tourneys will start on even hours, i.e.2:00; (insert 2nd league name) tourneys will start on the odd hour, i.e. 1:00. (keep in mind that everything is negotiable and customizable)

3. When (insert resident league name) is in room hosting, (insert 2nd league name) will not spam the lobby other than to announce start of a tourney.

4. When (insert resident league name) is in room hosting, (insert 2nd league name) will host from a table.

5. (insert resident league name) will use tables 1-30 and (insert 2nd league name) will use tables 31-60.( or whatever amount of table are in your particular game and service) If for some reason, all of a league's tables are in use, the two hosts in the room will work together and make a different arrangement for that particular time.

6. When advertizng Tournaments, both leagues shall include the Jump Number for the other leagues next tournament.

7. Both Leagues will promote each other to their members.

8. Once (insert resident league name) obtains 100 active members, it will/will not (this is up to the individual leagues involved) mark the room (insert game site and room name) with the understanding and agreement that (insert resident league name) has first rights to the room as (insert resident league name) has been in the room since (insert date) and has a prior claim.

9. Any disagreements between (insert 2nd league name) and (insert resident league name) will be dealt with and settled by (insert head admin name) of (insert 2nd league name) and (insert head admin name) of (insert resident league name) working together and deciding on a solution. If a mutual solution cannot be reached, (insert 2nd league name) will have one month to vacate room.

10. Both leagues reserve the right to reopen negotiations as future situations arise that can not be foreseen at this time and amendments approved by both Head Admins of the leagues involved may be added as the need arises.

11 . This agreement will remain in full force and effect while (insert resident league name) and (insert 2nd league name) share the room unless (insert head admin name) is no longer head admin of (insert 2nd league name) . At that time, (insert resident league name) may propose different terms or request that (insert 2nd league name) vacate room within one month.

If you are in agreement with this, please return a copy of this room sharing arrangement indicating that you, as head admin of (insert League Name), agree and it will become effective upon my acknowledging receipt of your acceptance.



ROOM SHARE AGREEMENT PART 2

After negotiating terms, both leagues will e-mail the other league involved, the following. This should also include the e-mail of the terms. This e-mail should also be cc'd to ml_proof@igl.net, so as to have a copy on file. Please keep all e-mails relating to your sharing agreement in a safe place. In the event of a disagreement, they will be needed.

(this is where the terms you both agreed upon shall be placed) ****If more than 2 leagues are involved in this agreeement, just add the second leagues information after the primary league and before the league requesting the share.
